Having photographed her sister’s wedding just a few months before, I couldn’t have had more fun spending a day with friends and watching the moments from Kara’s wedding unfold (with camera in hand of course). The wedding ceremony was held in Ocean City, NJ. We shot pictures near the gazebo on 20th St. where Ethan proposed before heading up to St. Augustine Prep for the reception. With a dismal weather forecast to start the day, the sun shined through and all ended well. As always, Valerie Merlino of Sweet Pea Floral Design (856) 256-0171 did an incredible job with the details. Lisa & Jonathan | Cape May, NJ | 06.27.09

Certainly Cape May, NJ is one of the greatest wedding locations in S. Jersey. Yesterday I had the chance to photograph the wedding of Lisa and Jonathan, who made the trip down from Brooklyn. A few words to help describe their special day: beach house, church choir, cheez-itz, flasks, mini golf, red fiat, real photo booth, skee ball, guitar hero, pizza, beach rocks, picture frames, wood floor naps, polaroids, dancing, dancing, dancing and a little cake smashing. Special thanks to my second photographer Jauhien Sasnou, who yes, still shoots polaroids!!! (see below). And, thanks to Ben Weldon for assisting. Flora & Eric | Beverly Hills, California | 05.23.09

This past weekend I had the opportunity to shoot a wedding at the well known Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills, CA. From start to finish the day could not have gone smoother. Special thanks to my second photographer Gene Smirnov for making the trip out West with me and for shooting 4 days in a row. Everybody involved in the planning of the day went to great lengths to make sure there was not a wrinkle. The catering was incredible, done by the Patina Restaurant Group based in New York City and Los Angeles.

Abbey & Miika | Montego Bay, Jamaica | 05.08.09

I think Abbey and Miika would both agree the greatest decision they ever made regarding their wedding was picking Jamaica over the highly favored Mexico. I remember Miika telling me they had 4 resorts in mind they were considering in Mexico, along with 1 in Jamaica as a fallback. With the current global circumstances provided it was lucky for all of us they landed on Jamaica. The day could not have gone smoother. ”Respect Man”…

Min & Francesco | Palermo, Sicily | 04.23.09

I recently returned from Sicily where I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Min and Francesco. Min’s mother and best friend flew in from Korea for the wedding. Francesco planned a simple but beautiful civil ceremony and reception in a mountain town on the outskirts of Palermo. The day started with rain but ended with sun. We all couldn’t be happier. Bravissimo regazze! I will see you for the wedding in Korea in a few months :)
